On
a Cat's Whisker was a 4 month oral history project that took place
in 6 locations in Durham County in 2005. The work focussed on
the impact of radio during the Second World War and was an inter-generational
initiative involving over 90 people from ages of 12 - 75. The
recollections were used to create a multi-media performance by
young people at the Gala Theatre in Durham City and a DVD.
My
role was as producer, video and DVD developer, photographer and
publicity designer.

Commissioned
by Durham City Arts, I worked with a creative team delivering
workshops in video production and digital recording. The performance
was a collaboration over 5 days with a Director, Drama Worker
, Sound Artist and the youth group, where the drama and video
projections were brought together for a one night show in the
Gala Theatre..
